Anytime you have problems in a relationship there is the chance of a breakup. Dealing with emotional break ups just ads more stress to a already stressful situation.
Emotions carry with it sadness, hurt, pain and anger. Dealing with emotional break ups sometimes requires a third party who is impartial to sort things out. Getting good advice and recognizing the causes that brought you to this point can actually lead to you making up. The positive way to look at breaking up is you have the chance to makeup.
Unfortunately during these emotional times you may encounter symptoms. Do the best you can to avoid the following:
-Loss of appetite
-Binge eating for comfort
-Calling your ex several times a day
-Constantly checking your email and voice mail to see if he/she called
-Thinking non-stop about why they REALLY left you
-Feeling massively depressed
-Feeling urges to spy on them
This can only make things worse and I know it is easier said then done but, dealing with emotional break ups is already stressful, try not to add extra stresses.
The worse thing to do during a breakup is to be by yourself to much. Find things, events that will occupy your mind and time until you have decided on what to do with this situation. The emptiness and sadness that can perpetuate itself during a breakup can spiral downwards fast, be aware and do what you must not to get dragged down the slope.
You always hope for a favorable outcome when dealing with emotional break ups and this is truly a temporary situation. Life will go on and so will you. There have been many breakups that have gone on to be much better the second time around.
There is help, there is advice and there is always a chance when dealing with emotional break ups that someone out there has the solution.
